How To Get Unlimited Money in Harvest Moon DS without using the Billion Dollar Glitch

In Harvest Moon DS guide on the net, there is a way to get a Billion Gold using a glitch that has something to do with fishing. Now then, the funny thing is, even before I knew that such glitch existed, I already became a billionare in 1st year of Spring. This means I bought the private island in my first year. The weirdest part of it is that I never saw my method of getting unlimited money (I always can have a billion gold eventhough I spent the money) posted on the net. This can only means three things :

1. This method is so easy that no one even bother to post it
2. A lot of people already know it but can't be bothered to post it on the net
3. I'm the first person to find this method (which I have to admit, is unlikely)
This is not a glitch or anything. It's simple.

I actually find this way years ago but never been bothered to post it before. Please keep in mind that I have not played HMDS for more than a year now so I may not describing every possible details but if you're really familiar with the game, you have no problem getting it right.

So how can you get unlimited money?Here's how.

1-Play the games with the harvest sprites to win medals until you have enough medals to exchange it for the Gold Gloves and White Gloves (it's called godhand I think)

2-Go to the bar/inn or whatever name that place is called where van is staying in the second floor. Speak to him, and choose Sell Items.

3-Sell the Gold and White gloves. The price is random I think, around 500,000,000g-700,000,000g but if you sell both you definitely will get 1billion gold.

And boom, you get 1billion gold! Really simple,no?That's why I find it weird that no one ever posted it on the net (as far as I know,and I searched about HMDS guide quite a lot).


Here are some important notes about this method :

1-I already share it with my friend, but she doesnt seem to get it work. I'm playing HMDS while she's playing HMDS Cute. So, if I'm not mistaken, it only works in Harvest Moon DS,dont ask me why.

2-Obviously you can only get the money when Van is on the second floor. Read the guide on the net to know what day is he's there (I only know Sunday)

3-After you do this for the first time,make sure that you exchange the medals for the glove after you sell it to Van. This is to enable you to use the gloves eventhough you already sold the gloves to Van by exchanging the medals then (the exchange items are always there after a day even if you already bought it).

4-I dont know about anyone who's playing this in an actual Nintendo DS. But for me, who's playing it using computer by downloading the rom, can easily save and load whenever I want. So it's really easy for me to win unlimited medals. So I guess maybe it only works to those who played it using computer.

Of coz, I think I got the idea by reading other people's faq, but still..I improvised.
